So my whole Couch to 5k adventure stalled again around week 2.5. Same story. I thought that if I started a whole blog about the running that it would help me over my 2.5 week hump, but nope. Still stalled. Enter Runtastic for Blackberry...
It's a GPS mileage tracker that allows users to share workout stats and other details from their runs online--most importantly for me--on Facebook. I actually wanted to use Nike +, but they dn't have an app for Blackberry devices. Which kinda sucks, because only have two other Facebook friends who are sharing their runs and it would be SO fun to run with them on Nike +. Runtastic does have an app for iPhones, but Nike is kind of a beast, so I highly doubt and iPhone users would switch--even for me. :)
So. The GPS sharing thing is new. I'm going to use it. Wait. It just occurred to me that GPS, probably doesn't work on treadmill runs. GPS works on moving objects right? I guess this means I'll have to run outside, huh? Plenty of trails around Austin I guess. And plenty of dogs. Ugh. I need a plan. I will run. Back to the drawing board...
