One more run left to go this week. I've been here before, but it feels much better this time. It's the music. I've been working out forever, but finally, FINALLY get why so many swear by music during workouts. Music makes a real difference in how much I look forward to and enjoy these treadmill training sessions. I always feel like I can keep going--hate when it's over.
Go Nicole Yourself is a genius for creating two couch to 5k playlists for each week. Who doesn't love options? A particular favorite moment for me during this playlist was about a third of the way through when "Rock Your Body" by JT came on. I imagined him watching me walk away on the dance floor. It plays during the 90 second walk/rest period too. I don't know how I was looking, but I couldn't resist dancing a little bit. I increased the incline to make it hurt a little bit more where it counts. The first one is my favorite of the two, but what a fun playlist!
