"If you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it. Don't be mad when you see that he want it. Oh!"
Her songs always have so much attitude! If he like it, he'll put a ring on it--okay? I'm so glad she's back.
Let the youtube copycat dance performances begin...

I know right?! I bet a bunch of "dudes" gone learn this routine and tear it up online. For some reason I can see rag queens tearin' this up.

There's a reason for that... If my hunch is correct, I think Jonte and Ramon made this up. You can check Jonte out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZlYN1epgpc
Ramon is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTuObQ_neRk
They Were her choreographers for the Beyonce Experience.

You are right. I do like the video. I have always conceded that Beyonce could tear it up with the dancing. And you're also right that the dancing is rather old school. Big fan of that!
One thing...why is she advertising for her mother's tacky clothes. She doesn't need that crap. She can afford real designers with actual talent. There is not enough family love in existence to make me run around in somebody's mess when I don't have to. That's just silly.

On Jonte and Ramon...and Fosse...and all the other choreographers whose work defines both our popular culture and the artistic world.
So tell me what the world of dance would look like without them?
Amazing.
Thanks for sharing Paula.

Such a simple video, but I like it.

I like it, I like the other one better. Maybe it's the slower tempo.
