I read an article in the Times recently that stated that film and television exaggerate the difficulty of labor. All that screaming was just not necessary.


Having been in the delivery room several times on the receiving end(waiting for that lil baby to come out to make sure he/she's ok) lemme just say that all that screaming is sooo real. Now, seeing as how I've never personally birthed any baby's I don't know if all of these women are for real, or if they are just adding extra drama...somehow I doubt it:-) Nonetheless, I don't like anything about the delivery room or the actual birthing experience.
I loved the ending of private practice!! SO unexpected. Audra McDonald is one of absolute favorite entertainers...check out her music if you haven't before.

yes ma'am, the end of private practice made me laugh devilishly and out loud...
