just a heads-up re your kitchen tunes
Pearl Jam's greatest hits is out now in a two volume release. Lesser known hits like "Yellow Ledbetter" are included.

And, I still haven't signed up for Memoirs of a Geisha and I read a bad review--the person said the movie was so heavy on dialogue it wasn't until almost the end he found out it was a love story. Or was that Snow Falling on Cedars. hmmm....

Wheee.... "Memoirs" was total eye candy. Especially the part where she dances the lead... I sat there, absolutely mesmerized. I thought they did a nice job- kept in most of the important content from the book.

I saw the movie but haven't read the book yet. I actually liked the movie but was a little weirded out by the relationship between the Chairman and the lead. He basically groomed his concubine.

E-You are so right! I was so caught up in this girl's fascintion with him that the fact that this grown man put dibs on a 9 year old. At least he did wait for her to grow up.
