We had joked about seeing a celeb in the Miami airport because a friend of ours always sees somebody famous when she's in Florida. We walked behind them for a few gates and passed by them when he and his travel mate stopped by one of the shops. I glanced back to see if I could get another look at his face. I did. He was looking in our direction already and when I looked back, our eyes met and he half-smiled at me as if to say 'yes, I am who you think I am, you got me even through my hoodie disguise.' I smiled back. Little did he know how little I knew about who he was.
Billy had seen his face too and recognized him as a BET stand-up comic and a member of the Glory Road or Get On The Bus cast or some similar film with an ensemble cast of black men. Even with all those clues, I still only recognized the guy as "familiar". Right now, I'm not sure who he was. I tried googling BET comics and looked up Get On The Bus and Glory Road on Imdb.com, but I don't recognize him from any of the pictures. He probably doesn't even have a picture on his Imdb profile. I'm positive I would recognize him if I saw him again though. I'll keep googling to see what I can figure out.
